About Us

I.G. Engineering Ltd. are a precision engineering company formally known as Williams Engineering, established for over 40 years. During which time we have focused on the sub-contract machining specialising in the manufacture and supply of high-quality machined components to meet our customers’ requirements.


Our factory and office is located in Erith Kent, where we can undertake a wide range of manufacturing services. Whether it’s one-off components from samples or design of new ones. With our combination of CAD CAM and machine capability we offer the complete service. A single source supplier for all of your engineering needs. We are committed to produce the highest quality on time and within budget.


Our current machining capabilities include CNC Turning, CNC Milling, centre lathe turning conventional milling, surface grinding and drilling, other services we provide are welding, brazing and fabrication. Also, a chemical blacking service.

Our experience

We are a medium size company and are always looking to expand our customer base. We work with a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials which include copper, brass, aluminium, phosphor bronze, aluminium bronze, stainless steel, mild steel, tool steel, cast iron, cast aluminium, cast steel, P.T.F.E. Nylon, perspex, tufnol and more.


We provide a high-quality reliable service for our customers which include Balfour Beatty, EDF, Sainsbury’s, Elmeridge cable services, International Tobacco Machinery (ITM) Evans Turner. For the past 20 years we have provided the high voltage cable industry with a vast range of equipment, tooling and fittings.
